Your Favorite Authors: Gone Graphic

Graphic novels: they're not just for comic book lovers. If you've never picked one up, you might be surprised by the variety of stories you can find in graphic form. Case in point--many bestselling mainstream authors are now crossing over into the graphic novel realm. Janet Evanovich has recently released two books in her Troublemaker series, which follows the antics of Sam Hooker and Alex Barnaby from her novels Metro Girl and Motor Mouth. Stephen King has brought characters from his Dark Tower series to graphic form, as well as tales from The Stand.

Author of popular titles like My Sister's Keeper and Nineteen Minutes, Jodi Picoult may not bring to mind graphic novels, but she has indeed had her hand in the genre with Wonder Woman: Love and Murder. Fans of Orson Scott Card's classic Ender's Game may be delighted to see it reimagined in illustrated form with Ender's Game: Battle School.

The graphic novel makes for quite a different reading experience, and is now just one more way to enjoy some of your favorite authors!
